Katlin Haupt, PTA
Katlin is a bike trail enthusiast who loves to spend her time enjoying God's creations
outdoors. She is fond of hiking with her family and singing with her sisters. She wishes she
could sing with them more often!

One should know that Katlin will never turn down any baked goods! However, her go-to ice
cream treat is a Reese's Peanut Butter Blizzard.

Katlin grew up in Readlyn, Iowa and later went on to study physical therapy at Hawkeye Community
College in Waterloo, Iowa. As an active individual, her desire to become a Physical Therapist
Assistant stemmed from wanting to learn how the human body moves. She loves working with
people and assisting them with their goals in order to live life to the fullest!

"Keep Life in Motion" means to keep the movements of the body optimal so that we can LIVE life
whether that's participating in sports or playing with grandkids."

Katlin has been working as a physical therapist assistant for almost 7 years. She was drawn to
the small town aspect of Grundy Center and proximity to her family.

John Richter, PT, DPT, ATC
John is a physical therapist/athletic trainer whose love for the profession began as a seed in high school. He was injured participating in high school athletics on several different occasions and his injuries required the services of a PT/ATC. John grew up just south of Green Mountain and graduated from Green Mountain Garwin High School, later attending Simpson College and then pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ.
Professionally, John enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities and is fulfilled in his job when he sees people no longer in pain and able to return to their desired activities. He also enjoys spending time on the sideline with the athletes of BCLUW HS providing compassionate care for injured athletes ~ receiving this care is precisely what sparked his desire to pursue a career in the healthcare profession. With over a decade of experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting, John remains motivated to help his patients “Keep Life in Motion” which to him means assisting them in completing whatever activities bring them fulfillment and joy in life.
Personally, John is married to his wife of 15+ years, Katie. He met Katie through their mutual love for the game of golf and they have been navigating life’s course as one ever since. Together they have 3 daughters (Clara, Maisa, Abby). He serves the Union Community Church as lead Pastor and will chat with you anytime about the Love of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
John enjoys a hot cup of coffee (anytime/anywhere), spending time with his wife and daughters, reading, and always dessert after supper!
